OfficeSheet Data Integration Applications

OfficeSheet Data Integration Applications

OfficeSheet is a family of stand-alone Windows application that enables you to fully leverage the value of your MsOffice and related applications, such as MsExcel, MsWord, MsPowerpoint and MsProject as well as Adobe Acrobat.  OfficeSheet products provide a data management interface to Office applications and the content that they edit (e.g. Excel Spreadsheets and Word Documents) independent of the formatting, structure or location of that data.   Document content, metadata and format information is available and integrated with Application level properties and internal structures.  This means that all information in the application and their documents is put on an equal footing in a 2-way interface with the application and across applications.

OfficeSheet combines an application-level interface to the specific server application (currently MsExcel, MsWord and MsProject) with a powerful but flexible data engine that is specifically designed to provide a bridge between structured information and unstructured or semi-structured information.

OfficeSheet enables users to “cache” data acquired in the respective Office Application so that it can be processed, transformed and analysed using functions or approaches not available in most applications. The results of these transformations can be applied to other downstream systems or returned to the application for further use there.

If you receive, create or distribute more than a few MsOffice documents in the course of the day, then OfficeSheet will save you time and help you get the job done better and more quickly. For many users, they have recouped their investment in OfficeSheet products in the first few days of use.

OfficeSheet consists of a flagship application, which rolls up all available interfaces (depending on the Edition licensed) and a number of single-application products aimed at one Office Application.

OfficeSheet is targetted to support workers in high-intensity information environments, as is typical in many corporate, government and other business workplaces today, by providing powerful MsOffice file and data management functionality fully integrated in typical end-to-end workflows.

OfficeSheet applications build on a common application engine that provides extensive data management, manipulation, presentation and distribution capabilities for data acquired from many sources. The generic capabilities are application-agnostic but the functions that interface with the "host" application are specifically targetted to use available API's.

The OfficeSheet applications then provide functions that are specifically designed to interact with and extend the core functionality of the "host" application via specialised API's or via accessing data files via standard format specifications.

OfficeSheet applications provide the next generation of data management functions for MsOffice users, extending upon the developments over many years of the VBA and MsOffice “add-in” product marketplace.  They provide a solid platform for large-scale interactions with data hosted in MsOffice, far beyond the memory or performance limitations imposed by the Add-in concept, and without the necessity for custom VBA programming to achieve processing economies of scale.

If you receive, create or distribute more than a few MsOffice documents in the course of the day, then OfficeSheet will save you time and help you get the job done better and more quickly.  For many users, they have recouped their investment in OfficeSheet products in the first few days of use.
